NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE DISPOSAL OF THE HYDROELECTRIC PLANT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Hastings will hold a public hearing on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Hastings City Halll, located at 101 4th Street East, Hastings, MN 55033, regarding the disposal and sale of the City’s interest in the Hastings Hydroelectric Plant, located on and upon the Mississippi River Lock and Dam No. 2.
The City Council will consider the disposal and sale of the Hydroelectric Plant, and, in accordance with Section 7.04 of the City Charter offers public notice and a public hearing for such disposal. Further information can be obtained from the City’s Public Works Department, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
All persons may appear at the public hearing to provide comments or submit written comments before the start of the City Council meeting to:
