The Hastings Hockey Association held their mite II playoff over the weekend at the Hastings Civic Arena. This level includes kids in the age group of 7-9 years old.. The Capitals, Jets, Stars, Penguins and Oilers all competed for the title. The teams competed thoughout the season on a half sheet of ice, but for the tournament the teams played on a full sheet with offsides and icing included. All players were announced and skated out in the spotlight before their final games. The Capitals prevailed in the Championship game over the Jets by a score of 5-2.
