Sports may be on pause, but that has not stopped awards from being handed out for football. Hastings had four players named “First Team All-District”. Junior Wide Receiver, Stephen Reifenburger, Senior Linebacker and Tight End, Lucas Knoll, Senior Defensive Back, Wide Receiver, and Returner, Joey Millner and Senior Defensive Back Michael Gruwell. Honorable Mention All-District honors went to Junior Linebacker Ben Witt and Senior Kicker, Simon Hedin.

Determining All-District honors is done by the coaches of each team. Teams are assigned a volume of selections based on their finish in the district. Once the coaches know how many they can choose, they vote within their locker room to determine the individual players who receive the awards.

The Raiders as a team were named as a Class 5A Academic Team All State (Silver) award winner. This award is given to teams that have an overall team GPA of 3.0-3.25.

Congrats to our Raiders for their hard work on and off the field!
