Adults looking to unwind with a good book and socialize with others can register for the Dakota County Library’s annual Winter Reads program.
More than 50 events are scheduled from Jan. 12 to Feb. 28. These include community-building activities such as trivia nights, book bingo, speed dating with
books and author talks. Winter Reads also features three community reading events, where all participants read the same book.
Winter Reads encourages adults to take a break to relax and read. It also highlights the library as a space for social engagement, not just individual use.
Visit any Dakota County Library location to sign up, get reading suggestions and find out about upcoming events. Join the more than 1,000 customers who participate in Winter Reads each year.
