Downtown Hastings held its Holiday Hoopla event Saturday. The downtown area was packed with shoppers and families enjoying the many events. The festivities culminated (left) with the tree lighting ceremony at City Hall. A popular event in the afternoon at the Hastings Beauty School was the “Who Hair,” where kids had their hair styled like characters from the “Grinch Who Stole Christmas.” Pictured at right giving a thumps-up to his creation was 5-year-old Gabriel Taylor.
