On April 21, Hastings travelled to Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo to take on St. Thomas Academy and Tartan in a three way meet for their first meet of the season.
The Raiders boys team has two returning seniors, Jake Harris and Luke Savage, and three juniors, these being Ryan Swanson, Charlie Williams, and Martin Onnen, from last year’s team, also adding freshman Jon Harris to the varsity roster. Those six took to the course for Hastings on Thursday.
Individual scores for Hastings: Swanson – 39, Williams – 40, Jon Harris – 41, Jake Harris – 43, Onnen 44 and Savage 51. That gave Hastings a team score of 163.
St. Thomas Academy won the tri with a 162 team score, Hastings took second with 163 and Tartan scored 183.
Hastings will host their invitational at the Hastings Golf Club on May 2.
