The Hastings gymnastics team opened its season Thursday with a win. The Raiders defeated Tartan 120.1 – 108.625 in the meet held at the new gymnastics home at Hastings Middle School.
Hastings swept first, second and third at the meet.
Elsie Bauer led Hastings with an all-around score of 31.025. She scored 8.05 in the vault, 7.45 on the bars, 7.625 on the beam and 7.9 in her floor routine.
Ava Klug posted an all-around score of 29.275, with a vault of 8.125, a bar score of 6.825, a score of 6.800 on the beam and a floor routine score of 7.525.
Delaney McGraw had an all-around score of 27.9 comprised of vault 8.25, bars 5.475, beam 6.3 and floor 7.875.
Also for Hastings, Nicole McGraw posted a score of 20.900, Haley Herman had a 15.375 and Sydney Hosler had a 15.275. Cecilia Corum posted a floor routine score of 7.025.
The Hastings junior varsity team defeated Tartan 31.75-2.
Hastings hosts Two Rivers Thursday, Dec. 14 with the meet starting at 6 p.m. The Raiders travel to North St. Paul Dec. 21.
