August 17th 12:26 am Officers assisted Prairie Island PD with a pursuit that ended in Hastings. After investigation, Prairie Island took 2 suspects into custody.

3:15 am Officers conducted a traffic top near 160th St. and Pleasant Dr. Doua Vang (60) of St. Paul was cited for driving after revocation.

8:04 am Officers received an after the fact fraud report. A purse was stolen at the 900 block of 31st St. E. and the stolen credit card was used at Walmart in Hastings. The case is under investigation.

10:46 am Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of 16th St. W regarding a suspicion. This case is under investigation.

10:49 am Officers received an after the fact theft from vehicle report at the 1200 block of 18th St. E. There are no suspects.

12:03 pm Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of 17th St. W regarding a theft. Officers investigated and cited Gjedaiah Avidan (44) of Hastings for misdemeanor theft. August 18th 2:22 pm Officers responded to a business in the 900 block of Vermillion St on a report of a theft of electronics that had occurred on 8/14/2020. This report is under investigation.

3:05 pm Officers responded to a lost property report on the 1300 block of 18th St. E.

7:03 pm Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of 33rd St. W. regarding a theft. This case is under investigation.

8:47 pm Officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 15th St W and Prairie St. Davis Alan Larson (52) of Hastings was cited for driving on a closed road.

August 19th 12:45 am Officer conducted a traffic stop near the 1200 block of Vermillion St. Joseph Matthew Julin (42) of St. Paul was cited for driving after revocation and failure to carry proof of insurance 2:18 am Officers observed a parking violation in the 100 block of 2nd St. E. The vehicles registered owner, Beverly Ann Ward (32) of Hastings was issued a city ordinance citation for misdemeanor restricted hours of parking.

4:48 am Officers too a theft report from the 3500 block of South Pointe Dr. The incident is still under investigation.

8:26 am Officers picked up found property from the 200 block of 4th St E.

10:07 am Officers responded to Walmart regarding a civil matter. A vehicle was taken without permission by a friend. A KOPS alert was issued involving breach of trust.

3:27 pm Officers responded to a report of found property. A set of keys with a Hastings Marina tag, a rainbow foods car and a metal lock were recovered.

5:27 pm Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of 31st St. W. regarding a dog bite. Officers investigated the call and cited Lori A. Krech (60) of Hastings for misdemeanor dog at large. This case is under investigation.

8:50 pm Officers conducted a traffic stop for speed on CR 47 near the intersection of Walnut St. After investigation, the driver, Devin Nicholas Lee (21) of Hastings was cited for driving after revocation.

9:24 pm Officers responded to the 800 block of 36th St. W. for a harassment complaint. After investigating, officers determined the homeowners experienced theft as a result of the harassment. Approximately $25 in value was taken. There are no suspects.

August 20th 2:20 am Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 17th St. W. and Walnut St. Nicole Ann Gans (28) of Hastings was cited for driving after revocation 3:57 am Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 3600 block of Vermillion St. After investigating, Jordan Echegaray Estrada (18) of Brooklyn Park was arrested for misdemeanor driving while impaired (controlled substance), and misdemeanor no MN driver’s license.

8:07 am Officers received a report regarding an after the fact suspicion at Regina Hospital. The case is under investigation.

8:21 am A traffic stop in the 2900 block of 31st St W. resulted in Valdemar Perez (58) of Minneapolis being cited for no MN driver’s license.

4:11 pm Officers responded to a suspicion call near the 1700 block of Market Blvd. David Mallett (59) of Minneapolis was arrested for DWI.

7:27 pm Officers performed a welfare check in the 100 block of Florence St.

8:24 pm Officers observed a male who they knew to have active warrant. William Louis Miller (41) of Hastings was detained and then provided with a new court date.

8:33 pm Officer was dispatched to the 2200 block of Vermillion St. for a property damage crash. No injuries and no citations issued.

August 21st 5:03 pm A small Shihtzu was found in the 600 block of 19th St. W. with no collar or tags. It was transported to the humane society in Red Wing 8:51 pm Officers responded to the 300 block of Tiffany Drive for a damage to property report. This case was related to case 20001689 9:28 pm Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 55 near Pleasant Dr. During the course of the stop, officers located drug paraphernalia. The driver, Andre Parks (37) of Bloomington, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

August 22nd 9:03 pm Officers conducted a traffic near Hwy 55 and Pine St. Aaron Marcus Heubsch (48) of Hastings was found to be impaired and arrested for DWI.

10:52 pm Officers responded to a motor vehicle tampering incident in the 1100 block of 1st St. E. The matter is under investigation.

11:15 pm Officers conducted a traffic stop near Hwy 55 and Eddy St. Gerald Joseph Kelly (54) of Hastings was found to be impaired and arrested for DWI.

August 23rd 12:12 am Officers responded to a civil matter complaint in the 900 block of 2nd St E.

1:57 am Officers assisted Dakota County Sheriff’s Office with a DWI arrest in the county.

3:04 am Officers conducted a traffic stop near Hwy 61 and Spiral View loop. Brittany Diane Jackson (19) of Brooklyn Park was found to be impaired and arrested for DWI, Felony 5th degree possession, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

8:46 pm Officers conducted a traffic stop near 15th St and Vermillion St. Matthew Isaac Carter (23) of Davenport Iowa was cited for driving after suspension and no proof of insurance.

9:25 pm Officers responded to the 1200 block of Sibley St. for a damage to property report. There is a suspect in this case and the case is under investigation.

9:46 pm Officers conducted a traffic stop near 10th St. and Vermillion St. Katlyn Jennessa Langeness (44) of Faribault was arrested for felony drug charges.
