Alan (Butch) Eugene Cowden Jr.(64) of Hastings passed away July 28, 2021 at the VA Hospital with his mother at his side.
He met his father Alan, brother David and niece Ame at the gates of heaven. He left behind son Alan III (Holly), daughter Mikayla (Edwin), grandchildren Kaiden, Graceson, Kailoni,
He was a US Navy Veteran, a city of Hastings employee, a proud volunteer with Amber Alert and the ultimate mother Darlene, sisters Sue (Dave), Sandy (Chuck), SIL Jane Cowden.
He loved his precious grandchildren, riding motor cycle, grilling and eating quality food.
Services are on August 5 (his 65 birthday) at Resurrection United Methodist Church in Hastings. Visitation at 10 AM, service at 11, lunch to follow.
