April 4 4:08 a.m. A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle near the intersection of Vermillion St. and 4th St. After investigation, David J. Skochenski, 39 of Delano was charged for driving after suspension and intent to escape motor vehicle tax.10:07a.m. Officers investigated a past action motor vehicle accident in the 1700 block of Market Blvd.7:42p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Park Lane regarding a suspicion. A vehicle was damaged at an unknown location causing over $1,000 worth of damage. There were no suspects at the time.April 5 7:11 a.m. A vehicle was found in the 1200 block of 3rd St. E. with no license plates or temporary tags displayed. The vehicle was towed.11:11a.m.Officers attempted warrant service in the 1500 block of Vermillion St.6:58p.m. Officers took a report regarding a theft of catalytic converter in the 1000 block of Nininger Rd. The loss was estimated to be about $2,000 worth of stolen property/damage. There was no suspect information at that time.11:19p.m. Officers arrested Christopher J. Davis, 51 of Hastings for a gross misdemeanor Hennepin County warrant for theft.April 6 12:07 a.m. Officers assisted the Burnsville Police Department near the intersection of Cty. Rd. 42 and Hwy. 35 W. Officers deployed their K9 for a track.2:49a.m. Officers initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of 10th St. and Tyler St. Edward L. Mears, 29 of Hastings was arrested for a misdemeanor Washington County warrant for driving after revocation and no proof of insurance. Mears was also cited for driving after revocation.11:22a.m. Officers responded to a theft report in the 200 block of 10th St. E. Two power distribution units were stolen from a job site.12:28p.m. Officers responded to a burglary report in the 2500 block of Voyageur Parkway. The case is under investigation.4:44p.m. An officer was dispatched to a two-vehicle motor vehicle crash at the intersection of 4th St. and Pleasant Dr. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.April 7 12:00 a.m.Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of 14th St.and Pleasant Dr. for a stop sign violation. After investigation, Brett A. Berg, 26 of Hastings was arrested for gross misdemeanor DWI.12:45a.m.Officers were dispatched to the 3700 block of Shannon Dr. regarding a medical call.4:35p.m.Officers took a report of identity theft in the 200 block of Tuttle Dr.6:53p.m. Theft was reported online in the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd.11:49p.m. Officers arrested Richard A. Boyer III, 35 of Hastings on a felony Dakota County warrant.April 8 3:58 a.m. A traffic stop was conducted near the 900 block of Bailly St. After investigation the passenger, Bruce A. Hoppe, 57 of St. Paul was arrested for Felony 5th Degree Drug Possession and Petty Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.7:52a.m. Officers received a report of a found wallet near the 1300 block of 18th St. E.7:03p.m. Officers took a report of suspicious circumstances in the 800 block of 10th St. W.8:32p.m. Officers assisted in a civil matter that occurred in the 2400 block of Voyageur Pkwy.9:39p.m. Officers responded to the 2300 block of Pine St. for a medical call. The case was documented.April 9 3:13 a.m. A traffic stop was initiated in the area of Vermillion St. near 10th St. E. During the course of the traffic stop, officers located suspected marijuana. The driver was warned for possessing marijuana. The case was documented.10:31a.m. Officers responded to the 1100 block of Tyler St. for a theft report.12:00p.m. Officers responded to the 2500 block of Voyageur Pkwy. on an after the fact theft report.12:45p.m. Officers received a request to check the welfare of a male at the 1200 block of Vermillion St. who appeared intoxicated. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the male and determined he needed to go to detox. He was transported without issue.3:40p.m. A stray dog was picked up in the area of the 1300 block of Nininger Rd.8:32p.m.Officers responded to the 1100 block of Nininger Rd. for awelfare check.9:40p.m. Officers responded to the 600 block of 5th St. W. for a medical call. The case was documented.11:22p.m. Officers located a snowblower in the middle of the 1500 block of Vermillion St. The item was collected for safekeeping.April 10 12:12 a.m. A traffic stop was attempted on a vehicle in the 100 block of Tyler St. The vehicle fled and was later located in another jurisdiction.3:50a.m. A traffic stop was initiated in the area of Hwy. 61 near Spiral View Loop. The driver, Koau Her, 21 of Maplewood was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.12:31p.m. A found property report was taken on Spiral View Loop. A wallet and its contents were located near Hub’s Landing and Marina. It was entered into evidence for safekeeping until the owner can be notified.6:20p.m. Officers conducted traffic stop in the 1800 block of Manor Lane. After investigation, Matthew J. Tuckner, 38 of Hastings was arrested for 3rd Degree DWI, 2nd Degree Test Refusal and open container violation.10:23p.m. Information was received that a resident ineligible to possess a firearm may have purchased a firearm. Upon investigation, it was confirmed the resident did not purchase a firearm and the information was documented.11:36p.m. An officer responded to the 200 block of 4th St. E. for a harassment report. The officer investigated the case and learned there was insufficient evidence to establish probable cause a crime was committed. The case was documented.April 7 7:07 a.m. A two-vehicle accident with no injuries was reported on Cty. Rd. 47 near Vermillion St.5:17p.m. A two-vehicle crash was reported at the intersection of 15th St. and General Sieben Dr. No citations were issued, and no injuries were reported.April 8 6:58 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of 4th St. and Pleasant Dr. for a hit-and-run accident. Officers investigated the case and identified a suspect. The case is under investigation.April 14 10:12 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Hwy. 55 and General Sieben Dr. for a one-vehicle crash with no injuries.April 15 12:56 a.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Red Wing Blvd. and Spiral Blvd. for an accident involving one vehicle. No citations were issued, and no injuries were reported.
