Last week, Vermillion Bank surprised residents at Regina Senior Living by donating blooming plants from Meloy Park Florist.
Anna Raway, Sales & Marketing Manager at Regina Senior Living, coordinated the delivery with Leslie Nielsen, owner of Meloy Park Florist.
On Tuesday, 8/11, two larger baskets were placed in the common areas for the Moderate to Late Stage Dementia Community known as Pauline, named after Sister Pauline.
Then, 31 plant arrangements were distributed to the resident rooms for the Early to Moderate Stage Dementia Community known as Tabitha, after Sister Tabitha.
On Wednesday, 8/12, 60 plant arrangements were given to the residents in Assisted Living.
Finally, on Thursday, 8/13, the Long-Term Car residents received 35 plant arrangements.
That’s a total of 126 plant arrangements + 2 larger baskets! All due to the generosity of Vermillion Bank.
They never sought publicity. In fact, Leslie asked them for approval to publish this story. Even with that, the bank did not want to be interviewed. It was simply a gesture from the heart.
You can imagine how thrilled the residents were! Anna Raway and the residents were so appreciative of the grand gesture by Vermillion Bank that touched the lives of so many by adding a little brightness to their day.
