3:31 a.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Vermillion St. and 5th St. E. After investigation the driver, Cha Vang, 52 of St. Paul was arrested for Felony Receiving Stolen Property, three counts of misdemeanor receiving stolen property, possession of metal knuckles, gross misdemeanor possession of ammunition by ineligible person, petty misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor driving after suspension.

February 22

8:00 a.m.

A report of criminal sexual conduct was taken.

10:34 a.m. Officers responded to the 200 block of Sibley St. for a medical call. Officers provided assistance with transport.

10:58 a.m. A snow emergency was declared for the City of Hastings.

11:32 a.m.

Officers responded to the intersection of Westview Dr. and Hwy. 55 for a two-vehicle hit-and-run crash.

2:21 p.m. A theft report was taken from a business location in the 1700 block of Market

Blvd. 2:27 p.m. Officers began a suspicious circumstances investigation in the 1600 block of S. Frontage Rd. The case is under investigation.

2:32 p.m. A theft report was taken from a business located in the 1700 block of Market Blvd.

3:47 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted near the 1500 block of Vermillion St. Timothy P. McCoy, 40 of Hastings was arrested for driving after cancelled IPS. 5:18 p.m.

An online report of catalytic converter theft was received in the 100 block of

Tyler St. 7:38 p.m.

A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle in the area of 4th St. W. near State St. The driver, Clarice White, 30 of Hastings was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia, driving after revocation and expired registration.

February 23

2:36 p.m.

A theft report was taken in the 1600 block of Vermillion St. Jacelyn M. Kress, 25 of Hastings was cited for theft.

10:22 p.m. Officers initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Ravenna Trail and Glendale Rd. After investigation, Edward L. Mears, 29 of Hast- ings was arrested for an active Washington County warrant.

February 24

10:58 a.m.

A report alleging financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult was received. The incident was investigated, and it was determined no exploitation had occurred. 3:01 p.m.

A stolen vehicle was observed traveling northbound on Vermillion St. near the intersection of 10th St. E. The officer followed the vehicle northbound on Hwy. 61 into Cottage Grove until more officers were present for the high-risk traffic stop. The vehicle was stopped near the intersection of Hwy. 61 and 80th St. in Cottage Grove. After investigation, Ju L. Moo, 23 of St. Paul was arrested for felony possession of stolen property, felony drug possession, gross misdemeanor possession of ammunition by ineligible person, petty misdemeanor drug possession and three felony Ramsey County warrants. The passenger, Tay Oo, 33 of St. Paul was arrested for a felony Ramsey County warrant. The vehicle was towed.

4:14 p.m. Officers responded to a trespassing complaint in the 1700 block of Market Blvd. A male was trespassed from the business. 10:08 p.m.

Officers responded to the 2100 block of Vermillion St. after a business owner had footage of an individual attempting to break into a coin machine at their business. No damage was done to the machine, nor was any change obtained. The video footage was unable to immediately identify a suspect, but the footage was collected for future reference.

10:16 p.m. A traffic stop was initiated in the area of Vermillion St. near 12th St. W. During the course of the traffic stop, the officer located suspected drug paraphernalia. The driver, Nicholas Elsen, 42 of Rosemount was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.

February 25

10:15 a.m.

Officers responded to a hit-and-run report in the 500 block of 7th St. E. No suspect information was known at the time. 10:43 a.m.

Officers responded to the 200 block of General Sieben Dr. regarding a report of a fire alarm activated. Tyler V. Larson, 18 of Hastings was cited for misdemeanor false fire alarm. 12:22 p.m.

Officers responded to the 400 block of 9th St. W. for a theft report. A trailer was broken into and items were taken from it.

2:52 p.m. A traffic stop was attempted on Hwy. 61 near Hwy. 10. The vehicle fled and the pursuit was terminated.

4:32 p.m. Officers responded to a suspicious circumstances report in the 2600 block of Rushmore Rd.

5:26 p.m. A report was received that the victim lost their credit card in the 200 block of 33rd St. The victim advised an unknown suspect used the card to purchase multiple items at multiple places. The incident is under investigation to determine if the card was used in Hastings.

9:25 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of 15th St. W. and Westview Dr. One juvenile male was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign.

10:08 p.m. A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle in the area of Hwy. 55 near N. Frontage Rd. The driver, Cameron Weston, 31 of Hastings was cited for possession of marijuana and driving without a license.

February 26

3:51 p.m.

Officers were sent to the 900 block of 31st St. W. for a theft of catalytic converter.

Officers are investigating.

8:03 p.m. A fraud report was taken in the 2000 block of Vermillion St. The case was investigated. There was insufficient evidence to establish probable cause that a crime was committed. The case was documented.

9:49 p.m. A theft report was taken from a business in the 1500 block of Vermillion St. Breanna L. Dornbach, 30 of Minneapolis was cited for theft.

February 27

5:00 a.m.

A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle in the area of 4th St. W. near Vermillion St. During the course of the traffic stop, the driver fled from the officer in the vehicle. A suspect was identified. The case is under investigation.

10:02 p.m. Officers responded to the 100 block of 11th St. W. for a theft report. Officers obtained a suspect description. The case is under investigation.

11:07 p.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of 17th St. and Vermillion St. Nicole A Thompson, 27 of Hastings was arrested for a misdemeanor theft warrant and cited for driving without a valid license.
