The Hastings Raiders Marching Band and Color Guard performed their 2026 show, “The Warrior’s Code,” at U.S. Bank Stadium on Saturday, October 10, during the Youth in Music Show, a multi-state marching band competition featuring class championships and the Minnesota State Championship.
“The Warrior’s Code” takes audiences on a powerful journey into the world of the samurai. The show explores the timeless principles that guided these legendary warriors: respect, honor, discipline, courage, and pride.
The Raiders earned second place in the Minnesota State Championship Class AA, finishing behind Waseca High School. Champlin Park High School took third place.
The Raiders also earned third place in the Youth in Music Class AA Championship, competing against eight bands from Minnesota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
Adding to their success, the band earned both the Outstanding Winds and Outstanding Percussion awards at Youth in Music. For the first time in program history, the Raiders Marching Band won both the winds/music and percussion caption awards at every competition this season!
