Hastings City Councilmember Lisa Leifeld cast her ballot Tuesday morning at Resurrection United Methodist Church. On the ballot were election of four Hastings School District Board seats and a school district capital referendum for technology purposes. Leifeld gave the Hastings Journal photographer the required permission to capture her voting. “As Barack Obama said, there’s no such thing as a vote that doesn’t matter,’” Leifeld said regarding getting out to vote.
