The first year of the Hastings Area Senior Expo was a success and planning is underway for this year’s event. It will be held on Wednesday, May 8 at the Tilden Community Center, 310 River St. from 5-7 p.m.
A variety of business and organizations who serve seniors in the community will be exhibiting at the event.
Businesses and organizations interested in a table at the event should contact Robert Halberg and Benedictine Living at Robert.halbert@benedictineliving.org or 651-407-7947. Expo registration fee is $50 and includes a listing in the Hastings Area Senior Resource Directory and the use of one six-foot long table at the expo.
“We encourage you to bring handouts, giveaways, swag or appropriate activities/screenings for the expo. You will need to bring your own table covering and displays. We also would like each business or organization to provide a door prize. We had a lot of wonderful door prizes last year!” promotional materials for the event state.
Businesses unable to attend can still be included in the Senior Resource Directory for $50. The directory is available as a printed piece and online.
