Burnsville Library Boiler Replacements

Dakota County will receive a single prime sealed bid for Removal of two existing boilers, and replace with three new natural gas condensing boilers at the Dakota County Burnsville Library until 2:00 p.m. local time on Friday April 26th, 2024 at the office of the Facilities Management (Suite 2500), Dakota County Administration Center, 1590 Highway 55, Hastings, Minnesota, 55033, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
A Pre-bid meeting will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday April 16th, 2024 at the Dakota County Burnsville Library, 1101 West County Road 42, Burnsville, MN 55337. Representatives of the Owner will be present.
Bidding documents including the bid form and specifications can be obtained from the Dakota County Website after April 8th, 2024.

This project will include the removal of two existing boilers, and the installation of three new natural gas condensing boilers at the Dakota County Burnsville Library, 1101 West County Road 42, Burnsville, MN 55337. All work to be in accordance with the specifications and plans.
Prevailing wages are required on this project.
Bids must be submitted only on the bid form supplied in the Bid Document. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic bids or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid a certified check or acceptable bidder’s bond payable to Dakota County in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond equal to 100% of the total contract amount.
Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the opening bids. It is anticipated that the Dakota County Board of Commissioners will consider award of the projects at 9:00 a.m. on June 11th 2024 at its regular meeting at the Administration Center, 1590 Hwy 55, Hastings, MN and reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any of the bids, or parts of such bids, and waves informalities or irregularities in bidding.
