Thomas “Tom” Keto, age 81, of Hastings, MN was called home by his Heavenly Father on March 12 at Regina/Benedictine Community Living in Hastings, MN.
Tom was born in Joliet, IL March 29, 1942, to Albert and Matilda Keto (nee Jahneke). Raised on a dairy farm near Emerald, WI, Tom married Carla Jean Smith in 1965 in Quincy, MA. They welcomed daughters Donna Jean in 1967 and Alanna Beth in 1972.
He is survived by his daughters, Donna (Stew) Jordison, Frederick, CO and Alanna Keller (Joe Aho) River Falls, WI; grandchildren, Mark, Scott and Matthew Jordison of Frederick; Dan (Bree) Keller of Arvada, CO; Ian, Madeline and Marissa Keller of River Falls; brothers, Dennis (Pam) Keto and Otto Bormet; and sisters, Helena and Dorothy Bormet.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 18 at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion Street, Hastings MN 55033 with a visitation starting an hour prior at 1 p.m. with a meal that followed after the service. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
