After being cancelled last year, the Spiral Basketball Tournament made its return to the Hastings High School, Hastings Middle School and the Hastings Area YMCA. Boys and girls teams from fourth to eight grade competed in a single day tournament. Saturday featured grades four, six and eight and Sunday featured grades five and seven. There were four trophy levels for the eight team brackets and each team was guaranteed three games. Brian Davis from the YMCA was the tournament director.
