SAINT PAUL, MN— The committee structure for the upcoming 2021 Legislative Session were announced Friday. Senator Karla Bigham (DFL-Cottage Grove) will be serving as the DFL lead on the Civil Law and Data Practices Committee, in addition to serving on the Judiciary Committee and the Local Government Committee.
“I look forward to serving with my colleagues on these important committees as we tackle some of the most pressing issues and concerns facing Minnesotans,” said Senator Bigham. “With my experience as a Cottage Grove City council member, a Washington County Commissioner, and my previous work as a paralegal, I bring a strong background and interest in these issues. We have a lot of work to do, and I am excited to get to work in the 2021 Session.”

She is a member of the following committees: Environment and Natural Resources Finance; and Veterans and Military Affairs Finance and Policy; Human Services Reform Finance and Policy.
