Letters of Interest Due October 31
The United Way of Hastings (UWH) is seeking individuals interested in serving on its Board of Directors beginning in January 2023.
This is an opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. Board members support the work of the UWH in the areas of Education, Health, and Financial Empowerment, with a focus on Youth. Members provide missionbased leadership and strategic governance.
Terms for Board members are three years. Board members are eligible for reelection for one additional term. Meetings of the Board of Directors are held six times per year. Board members also serve on UWH committees.

The UWH has been the Heart of Hastings for nearly 60 years working as an independent United Way serving Hastings and the surrounding rural communities within Independent School District #200. Its mission is to build partnerships to improve the lives of people in the Hastings area. Initiatives and partner agencies funded by the UWH support Education, Health, and Financial Empowerment, with an emphasis on Youth. Donations are accepted yearround.
