With all the has happened over the last year, The Hastings Area Chamber of Commerce, has worked tirelessly and promoted a number of shop local campaigns hoping to keep Hastings residents spending their time and money in Hastings. Valentine’s Day is no different.
With the tag line of “How will you ‘show the love’ this Valentine’s Day?” headlining their promotional page, the Chamber is challenging and inviting folks to shop local. Businesses all over Hastings are participating in a weekend long event for Valentine’s Day. Many locations will have deals Friday, Saturday and Sunday for shoppers to enjoy.
The main events will occur on Saturday, February 13th. Music will fill the air of Hastings Historic Downtown while shoppers take advantage of great deals and fun events. The big feature is horse and wagon rides from Noon to 4:00 p.m. along with Ice Sculptures, a couples photo booth, heart shaped hot cocoa bombs at Lock and Damn eatery and more.
The Chamber is also encouraging folks to get out and explore the many other beautiful spots around the area. Vermillion falls is gorgeous when frozen, Alexis Bailly Vineyard has the perfect wine for dinner with your sweetie, and Carpenters Nature Center is perfect for a quick hike. Hastings Golf Club has snowshoeing available and there is so much more to enjoy around town.
To see the ever changing list of events and deals going on around town, visit Hastingsmn.org and click Show the Love.
