Homecoming 2024!
This years Homecoming Pep Fest theme was the Olympics, and the Raiders had their own torch bearer. Faith Embu was the horary torch bearer assisted by her teacher Serina Stokke.

This year’s student section at the Homecoming football game was perfectly rowdy and so obnoxiously loud in a great way cheering on their Raiders to victory, 30-15 over Bloomington Jefferson. The kids managed to shake the entire set of bleacher s up to the press box with their cheering and jumping. They made the game that much more fun.

Each school year, the Hastings Area Rotary Club works with the high school to select eight “Student of the Month”. The first one each year is announced at the Homecoming Pep Fest. The first Rotary Student of the month is Briseis Rusnacko.

A big tradition of the Friday afternoon Homecoming Pep Fest is the football team puts on a dance with partners from the various fall girl’s teams. This year was no exception. The kids did a wonderful job dancing, hopefully, this tradition inspires them to support the new winter dance team.

Hastings newest sports team, Raider Dance, uses the fall season to help get dancers additional training and practice for the winter season as the Raider Pom Squad. This year, some parents joined in on the fun of Homecoming to dance with their daughter. Here Raider teacher and former coach, Taylor Pagle struts his stuff on Todd Field.
