The Hastings Area Historical Society will meet Thursday, October 12, at 7 p.m.  The meeting will be held at "The Studio," 205 2nd Street East, Hastings.  The meeting is free and open to the public.

The program will focus on "Haunted Downtown Hastings." Members of the Hastings Paranormal Team will lead a discussion about their investigative techniques, and what they have found in the downtown area.  Volunteers from the Hastings Pioneer Room will also talk about stories they have uncovered in their research about downtown buildings.  And, those attending the meeting are invited to share their own stories and experiences. This will also be a great opportunity to visit the new Studio event space, and to see how this historic building from 1867 has been renovated.
