October 12th
9:16 a.m. Officers received a theft report of a trailer. The trailer had already been recovered but a formal report was requested. 11:26 a.m. Officers received an after the fact theft report of a motor vehicle. The incident took place overnight at the 1900 block of Forest St. There are no suspects.
4:20 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of 10th St. E. on a forgery/ counterfeiting complaint.
9:20 p.m. Officer was dispatched to 232 Tiffany Drive for a motor vehicle collision without injuries.
October 13th
3:17 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the 3200 block of Vermillion Street. Duren Joshua James, 31 of Hastings, was arrested for multiple traffic violations, feeling on foot, and possession of stolen property.
10:57 a.m. Officers were sent to Nininger Road and 1st Street West for a motor vehicle accident.
1:28 p.m. Officers received an after the fact theft from vehicle at the 3200 block of Vermillion Street.
2:00 p.m. Officers received a parking complaint at the 3100 block of Cory Lane. Officers marked the vehicle and returned 24 hours later. The vehicle had not moved and was cited for violating the 24 hour public street parking ordinance.
3:29 p.m. Officers were notified of a fraud and identity theft, in the 1000 block of Woodland Drive.
7:38 p.m. Hastings officers assisted Dakota County Deputies with a driving complaint that ended in the 10 block of 27th St. E.
October 14th
12:42 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the 500 block of Kendall Drive. Kyle David Magyar, 36 of Cottage Grove, was cited for driving after revocation.
2:09 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 4th and Vermillion.
6:00 a.m. Hastings officers were dispatched to the area of the Hastings bridge on a road and driving complaint. A vehicle was said to be all over the road and had possibly struck a median. The vehicle was located in the 1200 block of Vermillion Street and the driver, Anna Renee Frye, 32 of Oakdale MN, was arrested for misdemeanor DWI. 11:34 a.m. Officers assisted another agency on the 500 block of Hidden Lane.
3:20 p.m. Hastings officers responded to the 1300 block of 18th St. E. on a theft from vehicle report. An unknown suspect broke out a vehicle window and removed items from the vehicle.
October 15th 7:03 a.m. Hastings officers responded to the 1000 block of Ramsey St. on a theft call. It was reported a window had been broken out and items were removed from the vehicle.
3:27 p.m. Officers were notified of a theft of package in the 1400 block of Whispering Court. Officers filed a report.
6:25 p.m. A Hastings Officer responded to assist Pierce County Deputies with a pursuit that ended on Point Douglas Drive South.
8:19 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 3200 block of Vermillion Street for a disturbance. This matter is under investigation.
October 16th 9:32 a.m. Officers took a theft of political sign in the 700 block of 14th St.
10:39 a.m. Officers responded to the 100 block of Vermillion Street regarding an individual with an active warrant. Jetzel Noel Rodriguez- Andino, 20 of Hastings, was arrested, transported and booked at Dakota County Jail for a felony- probation violation. 6:02 p.m. Officers responded to the 800 block of Ramsey St. for a theft report. After investigation there are no known suspects at this time.
7:40 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Ravenna Trail and Glendale Road. Emiliano Zapata Roman, age 41 of Shoreview, was arrested for a felony warrant. Lindsay Mae Schille, age 36 of St. Paul, was arrested for drug possession.
7:51 p.m. Officers went to the 1200 block of 18th Street to verify an individual lived there. This case is under investigation.
8:46 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Southview Drive in regards to an assault report. Officers investigated the call and determined a crime did not occur.
11:33 p.m. Officers responded to the 16000 block of Ravenna Trail to assist Dakota County Sheriff’s Deputies on a damage to property call.
October 17th
12:33 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Forest Street in regards to a medical. One individual was transported to the hospital.
3:29 a.m. Officers responded to the area of Polk Ave and Ravenna Trail to assist Dakota County Deputies with a train versus vehicle crash on the railroad tracks.
3:40 a.m. Hastings Police took a property damage report.
6:16 a.m. Officers were called to the 300 block of Whispering Lane for a suspicion report. A mailbox was damaged.
3:03 p.m. Officers took a stolen license plate in the 400 block of 15th St. The theft occurred sometime in the last two weeks. No suspect.
9:55 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Highway 55 and Vermillion Street. After investigation, one adult male will be charged via formal complaint for the following charges, receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana inside of a motor vehicle, and driving after revocation.
11:22 p.m. Officers responded to the 2500 block of Voyageur Pkwy for an assault report. After investigation, Sandra Marie Isaac, 41 of Hastings, was arrested and cited for 5th degree assault.
October 18th 8:41 a.m. Officers responded to 300 block of 33rd St on a theft report. Items were taken out of the back of a pickup. No suspects.
10:30 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of 7th Street regarding a theft from motor vehicle. An unknown suspect or suspects smashed the rear passenger side window of a vehicle and removed multiple items.
2:21 p.m. Officers took a damage to property report in the 1800 block of 13th St. Window appears to have been shot out by a BB Gun. No suspects.
4:03 p.m. Officers spoke with an individual regarding a stolen license plate. It was unknown where it occurred or how long ago it occurred.
4:54 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of 17th Street regarding a threats call. Under investigation. 6:54 p.m. Officers responded to 18th St. and Ravenna Trail for a car vs deer collision. No reported injuries or severe damage was done.
11:24 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near Eddy Street and 19th Street. Allen Peter E Miklya, age 62 of St. Paul, was arrested for a warrant and subsequently charged with 3rd degree drug sales and possession. Edward James Thomas, age 45 of St. Paul, was cited for fleeing on foot, providing a false name, and possession of hypodermic needles.
