Please join the Hastings Area Historical Society for its next meeting and program on Tuesday, August 12, at 7:00 pm. The meeting will be held at the LeDuc Historic Estate, 1609 Vermillion Street, Hastings.
Last year, the LeDuc Historic Estate received a large group of furniture and artifacts related to the estate, which had been in the collection of the Minnesota Historical Society. Dakota County Historical Society staff have been working on these items for months and have been fortunate to have summer interns dedicated to cataloging the objects.
Several of these interns will join us to talk about the processing of the collection, and share some of the interesting items they have found. The program is free and open to the public.
