February 8th 12:38 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Nininger Road in regards to a suspicion. This case was documented for informational purposes.

12:57 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance on the 4000 block of Martin Ln. During the investigation it was found the arrested party Mitchell Jeffrey Winter, 27 of Hastings, was cited and released for misdemeanor damage to property and booked for two outstanding felony warrants out of Dakota County. Damage worth approximately $300 dollars.

4:00 p.m. An officer was notified by another law enforcement agency of a check forgery incident that had occurred in Hastings at an unknown location. This case is under investigation.

6:00 p.m. Officers took a theft report which occurred on 1/22/2021 on the 2400 block of Vermillion St. After investigation there are no known suspects at this time.

9:58 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of 10th Street W. for a suspicion call. A traffic stop led to a shirt pursuit and the driver Cameron River Kirsch, 28 of Rockford, was arrested for a felony Isanti County Warrant, fleeing police, and driving with a cancelled inimical to public safety license. February 9th 12:34 a.m. Officers responded to the 1200 block of Westview Drive for drug activity. After investigation Sophia Marie Heisler, 18 of Hastings, was arrested for felony 5th degree possession.

9:38 a.m. An officer assisted another agency with a child protection related incident. Information only.

11:26 a.m. Officer received an after the fact fraud call at the 1300 block of 19th St. W. There are no suspects.

12:04 p.m. Officers responded to the 1200 block of South Frontage Rd on a report of an individual slumped over in the drivers seat of a vehicle. During the investigation the driver of the vehicle Jeremy Patrick Teal, 40 of Hastings was booked and released for driving while intoxicated.

February 10th 10:03 a.m. A vehicle was impounded from the 700 block of Forest St.

11:38 a.m. Officers were called to the 1600 block for a found property report. A trailer license was found and returned to the owner.

4:44 p.m. Officers responded to the 1700 block of North Frontage Road for a theft incident. Officers cited and released Zakary David Johnson, 35 no permanent address, with theft.

5:59 p.m. Officers responded to the 1200 block of Vermillion Street for fraudulent activity.

6:58 p.m. Officers responded to the 1700 block of North Frontage Road for a theft in progress. David Allen Bakken, 40 of West St. Paul, was cited for theft and trespassing.

7:35 p.m. Officers responded to a past action robbery in the 900 block of 14th Street West. The incident is under investigation.

8:02 p.m. Officers responded to a juvenile issue in the 900 block of 15th Street West.

9:44 p.m. Officer was dispatched to 2000 Vermillion Street, for a two vehicle crash. Minor damage to both vehicles. No citations issued.

February 11th 2:31 a.m. Officers were dispatched to a suspicion call near the 3300 block of Century Drive. After investigation Brian Jon Spanovich, 48 of Lakeville, was arrested for carrying a firearm under the influence, DWI, and driving after revocation.

10:06 a.m. Officers were called to the 500 block of Whispering Lane for a suspicious circumstance. A small amount of marijuana was detected at an apartment and the occupant spoken to and warned.

10:37 a.m. Officers filed an identity theft report.

10:43 a.m. Officer responded to a two vehicle crash on Vermillion St. at Vermillion Rd. No injuries reported. One citation issued to Edward Patrick Cosgrove, 55 of Hastings.

1:29 p.m. Officers responded to 200 block of 33rd St. on an attempted theft of a motor vehicle. Officers located the suspect and took him into custody. Alexander Robert Krachmer, 29 of Austin MN, was arrested and booked for felony motor vehicle theft and gross misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.

3:37 p.m. Hastings Police collected found property, including numerous tools, form the 1600 block of Vermillion St.

6:53 p.m. Officers responded to the 1400 block of Vermillion Street for a driving complaint. Officers located the vehicle in the area of Shannon Drive and 31St Street E. Christopher Jensen, of Hastings, was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.

February 12th 5:05 a.m. Officers were notified of a vehicle stuck in the snowbank at the intersection of 33rd Street West and Vermillion Street in the City of Hastings.

7:33 a.m. Officers responded to 3181 Olson Drive in regard to a two vehicle crash. No injuries and no citations issued.

10:54 a.m. Hastings Officers responded to the 20 block of Meggan Court on a past action assault which allegedly occurred on 2-5-21. After investigating it was determined no assault had taken place.

1:23 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Ravenna Trail and 18th Street. Mark Lewis Kelleher, 33 of St. Paul, was arrested for providing a false name and date of birth to a police officer.

7:53 p.m. Officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Vermillion Street and 4th Street East. After investigation Talisha Grace Libra, 25 of Roseville, was cited for driving after revocation.

8:42 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Red Wing Boulevard and 33rd Street West. After investigation Amanda Rae Hartman, 30 of Bay City, was cited for driving after revocation and no proof of insurance.

10:10 p.m. An officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Highway 55 and Pine Street. The driver Marlene Broin, 69 of Hastings, was charged with 4th degree driving while impaired.

February 13th 1:02 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Eddy Street on a report of a suspicious male. After investigations officers arrested Timothy Lee Otto, 32 of Hastings, for 5th degree drugs.

3:12 a.m. Officer responded to the 1700 block of Carleton Drive for a disturbance. Bryce Meyers, 21 of Hastings, was cited for disorderly conduct.

8:49 a.m. Officers responded to a fire in the 200 block of Sibley Street.

9:46 a.m. Officers were sent to the 2400 block of Vermillion Street for a disturbance. Officers investigated and located a suspected controlled substance in plain view. Officers arrested Brian Wesley Childs, 43 of Welch, for 5th degree controlled substance.

12:02 p.m. Officers responded to the 100 block of 18th St. on a disturbance between tenants. 1:57 p.m. Officers responded to the 500 block of Kendall for a hit and run. Officers investigated and cited Bryan Phillip Christner, 33 of Hastings, for failure to stop at an accident scene.

2:11 p.m. Officers were notified of a shoplifting theft from 2-12-21. A 17 year old juvenile male from Hastings was cited.

2:20 p.m. An officer assisted another agency with an investigation in the 1900 block of Forest Street.

2:58 p.m. Officers were called to the 200 block of Sibley St. for a found property report. A Samsung Galaxy 8+ was found about two weeks prior to the report date. No owner was found and the phone was put into property.

7:04 p.m. Officers were made aware of a parking violation on the 200 block of Eddy St. on 2-14-21 at 7:04 p.m. officers noticed a vehicle had not moved. Officers cited Alphonzo L. Lee. 30 of Minneapolis, for violation and towed his vehicle.

9:04 p.m. Officers responded to a burglary alarm in the 1300 block of South Frontage Road. A report was documented for information purposes.

February 14th 12:15 a.m. Officers responded to the 1300 block of North Frontage Road for a juvenile issue.

1:29 a.m. An officer responded to the 1600 block of Vermillion Street for a medical.

8:22 p.m. Officers responded to a check the welfare call. The individual in question was located and did not require assistance. The matter was documented for informational purposes.
