Notice of Public Accuracy Test (PAT)
Notice is hereby given that the public test of the tabulating equipment and electronic ballot marking device will be conducted in the Dakota County Elections Office, Suite 2300, 1590 Highway 55, Hastings for the August 13, 2024 Primary on Monday, July 22, at 10:00 AM.
Equipment for the following municipalities in Dakota County will be tested on Wednesday, August 7 at 10:30 am: Douglas, Greenvale, and Marshan
Equipment for the following municipalities in Dakota County will be tested on Wednesday, August 7 at 2:00 pm: Empire, Randolph City, and Eureka
Equipment for the following municipalities in Dakota County will be tested on Thursday, August 8, at 10:00 am: Nininger, Hampton City, and Vermillion Township
Equipment for the following municipalities in Dakota County will be tested on Thursday, August 8 at 1:00 pm: Waterford, Hampton Township, Sunfish Lake, and Vermillion City
Equipment for the following municipalities in Dakota County will be tested on Friday, August 9, at 10:00 am: Randolph Township, Lilydale, and Ravenna.
Equipment for the following municipalities in Dakota County will be tested on Friday, August 9, at 1:00 pm: Castle Rock, Sciota, and Mendota City
The PAT is open to anyone who wishes to attend. The voting system will be tested to ascertain that the system will correctly mark ballots and count the votes cast for all candidates. Persons interested in attending this public test should call Michelle Blue at (651) 438-4314 for more information.
