Coborn’s Grocery Store is adding a new service and product line to its store in south Hastings. They are remodeling the space that was behind the Little Duke’s counter into the Caribou Coffee space, a space that is expected to open sometime in April of 2023.

Coborn’s Grocery Store is adding a new service and product line to their store in south Hastings. They are remodeling the space that was behind the Little Duke’s counter into the Caribou Coffee space, a space that IS expected to open sometime in April of 2023.
The space behind the Little Duke’s counter was initially used as the movie rental area. Next, it became an employee break and storage area. The addition of the Caribou Coffee to the south end of town will save drivers in that area about 20 minutes round trip to get their favorite Caribou drink.
The location inside the store is the northeast corner and it will feature a drive thru as well as a kiosk to help customers get their drinks while they shop. The clear spot for the drive-thru is the north side of the building with the approach being from the gas station side.
From a post on social media, it looks as though the coffee shop will be managed and staffed by Coborn’s and they are currently looking for a coffee shop manager.
