Being a military family can be very difficult and stressful, especially around the holidays with deployments and training, oftentimes one or both parents miss milestone events and holidays. Add the rising costs of everything that all of us are struggling with and the holidays become more difficult for our service members and their families. That is where United Heroes League (UHL) comes in with their mission to help military families.
UHL and Tradition Capital Bank are teaming up once again for another major event in Hastings. This time, they are donating over one million dollars’ worth of holiday gifts to local military families and you are invited to be part of this.
Qualification for the gifts is different from the normal UHL requirements. This gift distribution is open to all current and former military members. Proof of service is required at entry to the UHL grounds. Proof of service includes but is not limited to; a military or VA identification card, copies of official pay documents, or official military records such as a DD214.

United Heroes League (UHL) announced that they have partnered with Tradition Capital Bank to provide over $1,000,000 worth of free holiday presents to local military families at their inaugural “Great Holiday Gift Giveaway” at the Tradition Veterans Complex in Hastings, Minnesota.
The event will take place on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 12 to 4 p.m. and will feature a festive atmosphere with Santa on hand in his workshop to meet with kids, bonfires to warm up by, food and cocoa trucks, and brand-new items that families can take home for free as a thank you for their service and sacrifice. Attendance is estimated at 5,000 people for this event, with each person going home with gifts of $250 or more in retail value.

The event will take place at the United Heroes League property at 2800 Ravenna Trail, Hastings, MN 55033. This is the parking lot for the SCHEELS RINK at the Tradition Veterans Complex. The gates open at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, with gift distribution starting at noon and running until 4:00 p.m.
