Join artists, collectors, junkers, makers, and creators for the second annual “Rooted in Junk” three-day event at Zywiec’s Garden Center located in Cottage Grove from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, March 16 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, March 17 and 18. This is a free event for the public.
According to “Rooted in Junk” Event Coordinator Dawn Fellows, more than 20 vendors will be onsite providing unique collections of handcrafted items, including home/outdoor décor, jewelry, goodies, candies, clothing, and much more.
“Rooted in Junk” was created as a fun way to connect people with art and antiques in a more grounded, natural setting. Fellows added that the event takes place inside the greenhouse, where everything is in the early growing stages, providing a warm, earthy backdrop.
Zywiec’s Garden Center can be found on Highway 61 between Cottage Grove and Hastings at 10900 E. Pt. Douglas Road.
