Monday, Jan. 2 10:51 a.m. – Vehicles were towed for parking violations at the 300 block of Sibley Street.

12:07 p.m. – A past action theft by an unknown person totaling about $300 in property was reported in the 500 block of Fifth Street West.

3:25 p.m. – Tracey L. Johnson, 43, Hastings, was cited for failure to stop for traffic control when a twovehicle accident with damage was reported at the intersection of Highway 55 and River Street.

Tuesday, Jan. 3 3:40 a.m. – Damarius Bedeaux, 27, Hastings, was arrested for felony possession of stolen property, felony possession of a controlled substance, and a misdemeanor Dakota County damage to property warrant when an officer initiated a bicycle stop near Tyler Street and Second Street East.

8:02 a.m. – A one-vehicle crash was reported at the intersection of Fourth Street West and Ashland Street.

11:11 a.m. – A two-vehicle crash, with injuries and no citations, was reported at the intersection of North Frontage Road and Dakota Summit Drive.

1:14 p.m. – A total of 18 vehicles were cited in the 100 block of Third Street East after a snow emergency was declared in the city of Hastings after two inches of fresh snow had fallen, 10:04 p.m. – Lee Ozuna, Rochester, was taken into custody for trespassing after police received a suspicion call in the 1600 block of Vermillion Street.

Wednesday, Jan. 4 12:37 a.m. – Connor Angell, 24, Hastings, was arrested for misdemeanor assault when police responded to a domestic in the 1400 block of Brittany Road.

1:21 a.m. – Christopher Davidson, 34, Hastings, was arrested for first degree felony DWI when officers responded to the area of 36th and Vermillion streets for a single-vehicle crash.

8:35 a.m. – A motor vehicle accident was reported on Nininger Road at the entrance to Lakeside Cemetery.

11:30 a.m. – An abandoned vehicle blocking the street and a private driveway was towed in the 200 block of Maple Street. No citations were issued.

12:27 p.m. – A Cameroon passport was reported lost in the 700 block of Greten Lane.

12:50 pm. – Brandon Kenneth, 47, was cited for expired tabs and failure to transfer title. The vehicle was towed.

3:08 p.m. – Officers responded to an assault report in the 1800 block of Market Boulevard. An attempt to locate the suspect is underway.

6:03 p.m. – George Deano Tompkins, 68, Hastings, was arrested for felony DWI and an active gross misdemeanor Washington County warrant when officers responded to a traffic accident near Westview Drive and Highway 55.

Thursday, Jan. 5 8:25 a.m. – Parker Lebakken, 26, Hastings, was cited for expired registration during a traffic stop near the intersection of Fourth and Vermillion streets.

9:55 a.m. – Eric Hanson, 36, no known address, was arrested for an outstanding felony Ramsey County warrant and cited for trespassing when officers responded to the 300 block of Third Street East for a possible individual inside a vacant home.

10:09 a.m. – A CSC investigation occurred in the 1700 block of South Frontage Road.

2:22 p.m. – A theft report is under investigation in the 900 block of Vermillion Street.

7:09 p.m. – A theft in progress is under investigation in the 1400 block of Vermillion Street.

9:01 p.m. – A female juvenile was cited for minor consumption when a report of drunkenness was received in the 400 block of Robert Drive.

Friday, Jan. 6 6:49 a.m. – A report of a suspicious vehicle was received in the 1000 block of Ramsey Street. An unoccupied vehicle had been running for the last hour.

8:38 a.m. – Juvenile, 13, was cited for property damage in the 500 block of 13th Street West when officers received complaint.

10:29 a.m. – A license plate theft occurred sometime between Dec. 8, 2022, and Jan. 5, 2023, in the 400 block of Commerce Court.

1:48 p.m. – An after the fact theft call was received in the 1800 block of Vermillion Street.

2:17 p.m. – A hit and run is under investigation in the 200 block of General Sieben Drive.

2:26 p.m. – A suspicion call was reported in the 50 block of Westview Drive.

2:32 p.m. – Officers responded to a welfare check in the 1800 block of Vermillion Street.

3:48 p.m. – A report of a Glock BB Gun found in a parking lot was received in the 1700 block of North Frontage Road.

5:39 p.m. – A report of a disturbance was received in the 3100 block of Century Drive.

7:24 p.m. – Melvin Weber, 64, Hastings, was arrested for misdemeanor domestic assault in the 300 block of 18th Street East when officers received a report of a domestic.

Saturday, Jan. 7 9:03 a.m. – Anthony Schlegel, 59, Zimmerman, was cited for a parking violation when officers received a parking complaint in the 400 block of Sixth Street East.

11:25 a.m. – A two-vehicle accident with no injuries and no citations issued, was reported at the intersection of 10th Street East and Progress Drive.

8:42 p.m. – Four juveniles were trespassed from an establishment at the request of a business owner in the 1600 block of Vermillion Street.

Sunday, Jan. 8

10:49 a.m. – Mackenzie Edwards, 21, Hastings, was cited for no proof of insurance when Hastings Police initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Voyageur Way and Spiral Boulevard.

12:29 p.m. – A two-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of Vermillion and 24th streets.

1:19 p.m. – A harassment report was received in the 1300 block of South Frontage Road.

4:13 p.m. – A report of computer-related devices stolen from an unlocked vehicle was reported in the 1700 block of North Frontage Road.

7:28 p.m. – A welfare check was investigated in the 600 block of 35th Street West. No police assistance was needed.

Accident reports Friday, Jan. 6 2:28 p.m. – A hit and run with property damage is under investigation in the 200 block of General Sieben Drive. Driver is Isaiah Gindt, 18, Hastings.

Saturday, Jan. 7

11:26 a.m. – A two-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of 10th Street East and Progress Drive. No injuries reported and no citations were issued. Drivers were Jeffrey Seha, 64, Red Wing, and Tristan Peters, 31, Edina.

Monday, Jan. 9

9:19 a.m. – A hit and run accident involving a parked motor vehicle was reported in the 1700 block of Walnut Street. The incident likely occurred on Jan. 8. The report is inactive, and no suspects were located. Owner is Matthew Debaere, 39, Hastings.

5:24 p.m. – Mark Roberts, 44, Hastings, was cited for driver turning left fails to yield when officers were dispatched to the intersection of County Road 46 and General Sieben Drive for a twovehicle accident. Drivers were Michelle Carter, 52, Farmington, and Roberts.

8:47 p.m. – An accident involving a semi-truck and a parked vehicle was reported in the 1000 block of Spiral Boulevard. Driver was Azzeddine Lahfidi, 48, Arlington Heights, Ill.

Tuesday, Jan. 10 11:00 a.m. – Cecelia Kay, 16, Stillwater, was cited for failure to yield to a vehicle when a two-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of 12th Street West and Pleasant Drive. No injuries were reported. Drivers were Anthony Cutrone, 39, Hastings, and Kay.

3:46 p.m. – A two-vehicle accident with property damage was reported at the intersection of Highway 55 and Maple Street. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued. Drivers were David Shay, 20, Randolph, and Logan Woller, 19, Hastings.

9:43 p.m. – Officers assisted the Minnesota State Patrol with a property damage accident on Highway 61 near the intersection of Spiral View Loop. Driver was Xong Ly, 68, Saint Paul.

Wednesday, Jan. 11 6:06 a.m. – A two-vehicle crash was reported at the intersection of 4th Street West and Forest Street. No injuries were reported, and no citations issued. Drivers were Joseph Young, 70, Prescott, and Joshua Hayden, 35, Hastings.

6:25 a.m. – A motor vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of 2nd Street and Nininger Road. Drivers were Jack Hilgert, 21, Hastings, and Kenneth Johnson, 25, Amery, Wisconsin.

8:40 a.m. – A two-vehicle accident was reported in the 100 block of Sixth Street West. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued. Drivers were Patrick Weidenfeller, 34, Hastings, and Marguerite Pagnotta, 19, Prescott.

9:11 a.m. – A report of a motor vehicle accident with property damage was received in the 1300 block of Westview Drive. Driver/owner was Elisha Thomsen, 34, Hastings.

9:12 a.m. – A three-vehicle accident with property damage was reported at the intersection of Highway 55 and General Sieben Drive. There were no injuries reported and no citations issued. Drivers were Carl Reuter, 63. Hastings; Alison Montgomery, 19, Burnsville; and Robert Larson, 40, Hinckley.

1:35 p.m. – A hit and run property damage accident was reported in the 200 block of Third Street East. Owner was Theresa Grubar, 60, Hastings.

4:55 p.m. – A two-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of Pleasant Drive and South Frontage Road. Drivers were Emma Kerbek, 18, Hastings, and Virgilio Payumo, 52, Eagan.

5:30 p.m. – A report of a vehicle stuck in a snowbank was received at the intersection of Highway 55 and Vermillion Street. No injuries were reported, and no citations issued. Driver was Katherine Birkeland, 76, Saint Paul.

8:38 p.m. – Aimee Mc-Naughton, 39, Hastings, was cited for failing to stop for a red light when a two-vehicle accident with property damage was reported near Highway 55 and Vermillion Street. Drivers were Jesse White, 32, Prescott, and McNaughton.

Thursday, Jan. 12 1:22 p.m. – Charles Bauer, 66, Hastings, was cited for driver turning left fails to yield when officers responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Vermillion Street and 25th Street West. There were no injuries reported. Drivers were Thomas Stern, 43, Hastings, and Bauer.

Sunday, Jan. 15 2 p.m. – A two-vehicle accident was reported at or near the intersection of 24th Street West and Cannon Street. Drivers were John Maurus, 64, Hastings, and Kathy Scheel, 68, Elk River.
