The following incidents were reported to Hastings Police Department Dec. 1225.

Monday, Dec. 12 12:35 a.m. – A damage to property report was received and is under investigation in the 400 block of Commerce Court.

9:48 a.m. – Drug activity was reported, and one juvenile was cited and released, in the 200 block of General Sieben Drive.

1:18 p.m. – A report of threats was received in the 200 block of General Sieben Drive.

5:23 p.m. – A two-vehicle crash, with one person claiming injury, was reported at the intersection of 15th and Eddy streets.

5:57 p.m. – A hit and run crash was reported in the 1700 block of Market Boulevard.

11:04 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 3400 block of Vermillion Street, but after investigation there was insufficient evidence that a crime occurred. Officers mediated the situation.

Tuesday, Dec. 13 7:15 a.m. – A report of theft occurred in the 900 block of Ramsey Street.

8:54 a.m. – Officers responded to a report of a bus arm violation in the area of 36th Street and Greten Lane.

10:29 a.m. – A caller requested a welfare check in the 2500 block of Southview Place.

3:21 p.m. – Information was received about a potentially dangerous dog living in the 1900 block of Sierra Drive. The report was unfounded.

3:33 p.m. – A property damage accident was reported in the 1300 block of Lyn Way.

Wednesday, Dec. 14 1:59 a.m. – Todd Ames, 52, Hastings, was arrested for two gross misdemeanor warrants out of Washington County for driving with a revoked license after a routine traffic stop near the 100 block of 22nd Street West.

2:49 a.m. – A report of a missing vehicle was received in the 1900 block of Maple Street. Officers investigated the incident and found that the vehicle had been towed.

4:56 a.m. – A two-vehicle accident with a party stuck in a vehicle was reported in the area of Highway 55 west of General Sieben Drive.

7:51 a.m. – A one-vehicle accident, with no injuries or citations issued, was reported in the 3400 block of Century Drive.

10:03 a.m. – An officer received a report of theft in the 700 block of Vermillion Street.

10:42 a.m. – A found bike was reported in the 1900 block of Oak Street.

10:57 a.m. – Kevin Gregory Swanson, 45, was arrested and booked on a warrant in the 1200 block of Vermillion Street.

11:31 a.m. – A caller requested a welfare check in the 3600 block of Malcolm Avenue.

2:27 p.m. – A motor vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of Red Wing Boulevard and Tuttle Drive.

3:15 p.m. – A report from the Minnesota Adult Abuse Reporting Center was received in the 3900 block of Shannon Drive. The incident was investigated, and information was documented.

4:54 p.m. – A report of identity theft was received in the 700 block of 31st Street West.

7:59 p.m. – A report of theft is under investigation in the 1700 block of Market Boulevard.

Thursday, Dec. 15 6:59 a.m. – Douglas Smeets, 67, Hastings, was given a warning after being observed removing mail from a mailbox that was not his in the 400 block of 18th Street East. Smeets admitted to removing junk mail from an unoccupied home and gave the three pieces of mail back.

8:34 a.m. – A two-vehicle crash was reported at the intersection of Highway 55 and Westview Drive. There were no injuries and no citations issued.

9:52 a.m. – Robert Dreher, 55, Hastings, was booked into the Dakota County Jail and issued a citation for disorderly conduct after officers responded to a report of an intoxicated man disturbing at least two businesses in the 100 block of Second Street East.

12:20 p.m. – A CSC investigation was conducted in the 1800 block of Maple Street.

12:29 p.m. – A suspicious incident is under investigation in the 200 block of Fourth Street East.

6:00 p.m. – An after the fact report of identity theft by an unknown suspect was received in the 1200 block of 14th Street West. An account was opened under the victim’s name. There was no financial loss and no suspect information.

8:38 p.m. – A medical was reported in the 1200 block of 18th Street East. A patient was transported to the hospital.

Friday, Dec. 16 12:18 p.m. – A theft was reported in the 100 block of Ninth Street West. The investigation is inactive.

2:27 p.m. – A report of a green wallet found in a snowbank was received in the 1100 block of Vermillion Street.

2:53 p.m. – A suspicious incident that originated in the 3600 block of Red Wing Boulevard was investigated.

3:44 p.m. – Officers were notified of lost property in the 500 block of 11th Street West.

6:45 p.m. – A report of threats call was received in the 400 block of Ramsey Street. No suspect information is currently available.

7:38 p.m. – Officers assisted Dakota County on a medical call.

Saturday, Dec. 17 3:07 p.m. – A report of a disturbance involving a female trespassing on property was received in the 1100 block of Nininger Road.

5:50 p.m. – Dylan Terell Kiese, 20, Hastings, was arrested for gross misdemeanor property damage when officers responded to a disturbance call in the 1100 block of Fourth Street North.

7:17 p.m. – Alisah Rosa Martinez, 36, Hastings, was arrested for a misdemeanor Dakota County warrant for fleeing a Peace Officer by other means other than motor vehicle while walking near the 100 block of Third Street East.

7:25 p.m. – Troy R. Johnson, 42, Prescott, was found to be impaired and arrested for DWI when officers were dispatched to the intersection of Ninth and Vermillion streets for a driving complaint.

Sunday, Dec. 18 12:17 a.m. – During a traffic stop at Third and Tyler streets, a juvenile was issued a citation for driving without a driver’s license.

4:24 p.m. – Heather Melissa Lane, 49, Hastings, was arrested for two warrants in the 1300 block of Spring Street.

9:22 p.m. – A disturbance call was received in the 500 block of Sixth Street West. Officers investigated the call and mediated a solution.

December 19 7:25 a.m. – A burglary of a construction site where multiple tools were taken is under investigation in the 200 block of 2nd Street West.

11:41 a.m. – A report of theft was received in the 800 block of 5th Street West.

2:47 p.m. – An after-thefact report was received regarding stolen keys and a broken into vehicle in the 3100 block of Olson Drive. The keys were recovered by an app on the victim’s phone which tracked them to the Rosemount Police Department. They recovered his stolen keys after a vehicle pursuit and the driver was in custody. This case has been forwarded to the Dakota County Attorney’s Office for review of charging.

2:49 p.m. – A burglary is under investigation in the 300 block of 3rd Street East.

December 20 4:16 a.m. – David Andrew Frisk, 48, Hastings, was cited with windshield covered with frost near Pleasant Drive and South Frontage Road.

7:30 a.m. – A report of criminal sexual conduct was received in the 700 block of South Oaks Drive.

10:53 a.m. – A report of criminal sexual conduct is under investigation in the 200 block of General Sieben Drive.

1:44 p.m. – Officers placed a KOPS Alert on female adult who has not been seen in a while after a report regarding a welfare check was received in the 600 block of 8th Street West.

4:36 p.m. – A medical was reported in the 200 block of 33rd Street West.

7:43 p.m. – Officers assisted with a trespassing individual at CVS in the 1400 block of Vermillion Street.

8:28 p.m. – A report of a motor vehicle accident was received at the intersection of Highway 55 and South Frontage Road.

December 21

3:36 p.m. – Adult Protection requested police assistance in placing a male in an ambulance for transportation in the 300 block of Eddy Street.

December 22 12:47 p.m. – A no-contact violation is under investigation when an incident was documented in the 200 block of 4th Street East. The incident was sent to the county attorney’s office for charging.

12:55 p.m. – A one-vehicle accident was reported with no injuries or citations at northbound Highway 61 north of the Hasting’s Bridge.

1:18 p.m. – An investigation of threats against law enforcement made by an inmate at Dakota County Jail occurred in the 1500 block of Highway 55. The threats were documented and sent to for review to the County Attorney’s Office.

1:47 p.m. – A property damage hit and run accident was reported in the 1700 block of North Frontage Road.

4:41 p.m. – Officers assisted the Okaloosa County, Florida Sheriff’s Office with an investigation. The results were documented.

8:01 p.m. – A report of a medical problem was received in the 200 block of 4th Street East.

8:36 p.m. – A report of vandalism was received in the 100 block of 25th Street West. Unknown suspects threw eggs at a parked vehicle.

December 24 12:20 a.m. – Sheryl A. Sunberg, 59, Hastings, was arrested for an outstanding felony theft warrant in the 1600 block of Vermillion Street.

11:22 a.m. – Officers assisted exchanging information of a motor vehicle accident on private property in the 1700 block of North Frontage Road.

3:43 p.m. – A two-vehicle crash was reported in the intersection of Red Wing Boulevard and Tuttle Drive.

December 25 6:48 p.m. – Hastings Police assisted Prairie Island Police Department with an uncooperative person in the 1100 block of Nininger Road.

Accident Reports Thursday, Dec. 15 8:37 a.m. – A two-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 55 and Westview Drive. No injuries and no citations were issued. Drivers were Ryan Washburn, 38, Hastings, and Lawrence Ferguson, 73, Cottage Grove.

Tuesday, Dec. 20 4:33 a.m. – David Andrew Frisk, 48, Hastings, was cited for a windshield covered with frost when an officer observed a vehicle off the roadway near Pleasant Drive and South Frontage Road.

8:54 p.m. – A motor vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 55 and South Frontage Road. Drivers were Matthew Loicanoo, 23, Hastings, and Charles McGlothlen, 59, Hixson.

Thursday, Dec. 22 12:56 p.m. – A one-vehicle accident was reported at northbound Highway 61 north of Hastings Bridge. No injuries and no citations issued. Driver was Erik Lind, 65, Hastings.

1:48 p.m. – A report of a property damage hit and run crash was received in the 1700 block of Frontage Road North. Vehicle owner was Molly Ferguson, 44, Hastings.

Saturday, Dec. 24 11:24 a.m. – Officers assisted exchanging information of a motor vehicle accident on private property in the 1700 block of North Frontage Road. Driver was James Brooks, 38, Prescott.

3:45 p.m. – A two-vehicle accident was reported near the intersection of Red Wing Boulevard and Tuttle Drive. Drivers were Karen Rasmussen, 70, Hastings, and Abbie Schierts-Riessen, 26, Red Wing.

December 26 8:26 p.m. – A motor vehicle accident without injuries was reported at the intersection of General Sieben Drive and North Frontage Road. Driver was Gina Marrone, 51, Saint Paul Park.

December 27 9:55 a.m. – Mario De La Torre Borha, 51, Woodbury, was cited for duty to drive with due care-speed when a two-vehicle accident was reported at Maple Street and 7th Street West. Drivers were Jarl Olson, 74, Hastings, and De La Torre Borha.

2:17 p.m. – Faith Ann Powers, 59, Hastings, was cited for no proof of insurance when a two-vehicle crash was reported in the 2200 block of Vermillion Street. Driver was Powers.

December 28

8:19 a.m. – A hit and run accident was reported in the 200 block of Ramsey Street. The vehicle owner was Cynthia Landon, 36, Hastings.

December 29

6:26 p.m. – A past action hit and run accident is under investigation in the 800 block of General Sieben Drive. Vehicle owner is Tiffany Swanson, 38, Hastings.
