John Peine 1923-2022

John Aloysius Peine, age 98, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Nov. 17, 2022, at Regina Senior Living in Hastings, Minnesota. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church where he ushered until recent years, and he was the longest standing member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #4481, in Cannon Falls—76 years! John and Helen enjoyed dancing, Saturday night dates, and Twins baseball (although he had a special affection for the New York Yankees). He and Helen also enjoyed traveling.
