The 14th annual Give to the Max day will be held throughout Minnesota on November 17th. Also known as the great Minnesota Give-Together, this online giving event is a day when Minnesota shows the world what unparalleled generosity looks like!

This year, you can MAXimize your gift to Hastings Family Service with $20,000 in matching funds given by the American Veterans Post 1, Intek Plastics, Tony and Cali Miller/Fall Harvest Party and an anonymous HFS supporter! All gifts to HFS, whether given online, brought in person, or arriving in the mail by November 17th will be eligible for the match.

Early giving has begun and your gift can be scheduled now and will be immediately counted toward Give to the Max totals and eligible prizes! According to Kelly Carter, HFS Development and Community Relations Coordinator, GiveMN has put together another great day, awarding $500 golden tickets every 15 minutes throughout the day in addition to $1000 golden tickets each hour. Golden tickets are additional dollars provided to the organization the gift was designated to.

“We invite the community to follow our Facebook page throughout the week to learn more about the impact of your generosity,” said Carter. Give to the Max day will culminate with the drawing of one gift that will receive a $10,000 golden ticket for the organization the gift was given to!

Several area nonprofits and schools will be participating in Give to the Max day. Your gift to Hastings Family Service will be eligible for the $20,000 match, and every gift to local nonprofits makes a difference in our community, so let’s GIVE TO THE MAX on Nov 17th!
