Diane Endres, age 80 of Marco Island, Florida passed away peacefully on Sept. 15, 2022. Diane Delores Molitor was born on April 23, 1942, to Raymond and Bernice (Gerster) Molitor on the family farm in Cannon Falls, Minnesota. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1960 and then went on to St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Rochester where she received her nursing degree. Diane married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Endres, on August 17, 1963, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Miesville, Minnesota. Diane started her nursing career at Regina Hospital in Hastings and then as a school nurse in Knoxville, Iowa. Later, Diane would work for Dayton’s and Macy’s in St. Paul. Diane and Bob retired to Marco Island, Florida where they loved to host friends and family at their home, golf, take long morning walks, go dancing, and visit with their happy hour friends. Diane and Bob were also avid travelers. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband; children Michelle, Craig and Peter; brother Gene Molitor; brother in law Joe Niebur. Diane is survived by her daughter Jennifer; daughter in law Peggy; grandchildren Taylor, Brendan (Emily) Leehe, Vanessa (Tom) Mangatu, Brian Fortier, Liz (Jason) Graham, Ben Weinhandl; Siblings Rae (Dick) Otterstrom, Theresa Niebur, Charlie (Patrice) Molitor; and Sister in law Rita Molitor; and two great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on September 24, 2022 at 11AM (10-11AM visitation) at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 15th St. W., Hastings, MN 55033.
