The Hastings girl’s tennis team fell to Lakeville North on Wednesday, September 7 at Hastings. Claire Keller had been the undefeated number one singles player for Hastings coming into the match. Lakeville’s Kiera Kelly ended that run. Keller’s two younger sisters Brooklyn and Reese had the best singles matches for Hastings on the day both winning a point for the team. Jade Lindgren, Hastings, 62 , 63 Doubles: No. 1 Jasmine Woo Molly Plotnik, Lakeville North def. Mikayla Schuster Autumn Winkler, Hastings, 76 (6), 62 No. 2 Hannah Weckman Ava Johnson, Lakeville North def. Brooke Jelley Ruby Rotty, Hastings, 60 , 63 No. 3 Nora Blommel Quinn Mackedanz, Lakeville North def. Ella Dohmen Amber Keller, Hastings, 60 , 63 Hastings will host North St. Paul on Sep. 15 at 4 p.m. then they travel to Eagan for an invite at 9 a.m. on Sep. 17 before finishing the news week on Sep. 19 at home against Park of Cottage Grove at 4 p.m.
The Raiders then travel to Tartan on Sep. 20 at 4 p.m. and return home on Sep. 22 against Mahtomedi also at 4 p.m.
