August 22

•At 4:16 p.m., James Tyler, 63 of Hastings was served a copy of an order for protection while he was visiting the Hastings Police Department.

•Officers responded to the 1100 block of 5th St. W. for a warrant check at 7:57 p.m. Nicole L. Stine, 33 of Hastings was arrested for an active Anoka County warrant.

August 23

•At 2:15 a.m., a traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle in the area of Ashland St. near 9th St. W. The driver, David Maniak, 44 of Hastings was taken into custody for 4th Degree Driving While Intoxicated.

•At 10:56 a.m., a vehicle was observed parked in the 1100 block of 3rd St. W. with expired registration displayed. The registered owner, Nicole Ginther, 41 of Hastings was issued a citation for the violation.

•At 10:43 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. for a welfare check on a possible impaired driver. Officers located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop in the area of Westview Dr. near Pleasant Dr. The driver, Sheryl Sundberg, 59 of Hastings was taken into custody for 4th Degree Driving While Intoxicated.

August 24

•At 3:38 a.m., officers arrested Nicole A. Gans, 30 of Hastings in the 900 block of Ramsey St. for a felony Dakota County drug possession warrant.

•At 3:24 p.m., a vehicle was observed to be playing very loud music in the 300 block of Sibley St. When the officer asked the driver to turn down the music, the driver said he did not have to since it was before 10:00 p.m. The officer advised the driver of the ordinance, and the driver told the officer to give him a fine before flashing a large amount of cash. Joseph Amyotte, 31 of Hastings was issued a citation.

•At 7:01 p.m., an officer served paperwork to an individual in the 1400 block of Vermillion St.

August 25

•At 8:53 a.m., an officer responded to the 1700 block of Market Blvd. to speak with an individual suspected of theft. While identifying the suspect, he was found to have a felony warrant out of Hennepin County. Jeffrey T. Cook, 40 of St. Paul was arrested for his outstanding warrant.

•At 8:28 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Spiral Blvd. and Enterprise Ave. During the course of the investigation, a small amount of a controlled substance was located and collected for destruction.

August 26

•At 3:56 a.m., officers responded to the 800 block of Bahls Dr. for a burglary report. Officers arrived on scene and observed forced entry into the business. The case is under investigation.

•At 9:51 a.m., a victim called in and advised someone had forged two of her personal checks. The incident occurred in the 900 block of Lynn Way. The victim loss is approximately $1,045. The incident is under investigation.

•Officers responded to the 600 block of Sibley St. for a theft from vehicle report at 4:14 p.m. A commercial vacuum cleaner was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

August 27

•At 3:12 a.m., officers conducted a warrant check in the 1400 block of Vermillion St. After investigation, Troy A. Cann, 29 of Hastings was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant for contempt of court and Felony 5th Degree Possession of Drugs.

•Officers responded to a vehicle theft from the 800 block of Ramsey St. at 8:44 a.m. An unknown suspect stole a vehicle valued at about $3,000.

•Officers were dispatched to a theft report in the 100 block of 2nd St. E. at 7:33 p.m.The suspect was located and issued a trespass notice.

August 28

•At 10:47 a.m., officers were dispatched to Wilson Park on the report of suspicious activity. A juvenile was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana.

•At 4:31 p.m., officers investigated a past-action theft report from the 500 block of Westview Dr. An unknown subject stole about $250.

•An officer took an after the fact theft report from the 900 block of Vermillion St. at 6:12 p.m. The incident is under investigation.

•At 6:37 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of 8th St. W. for a warrant service. After investigation, Sawyer Hays, 19 of Hastings was arrested for a felony Dakota County warrant for possession of child pornography.

•Officers took a past-action theft report at 7:33 p.m. in the 1300 block of Sun Valley Dr. An unknown suspect stole a license plate from a vehicle.

Accident Reports August 25

•At 11:34 a.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 21st St. and Vermillion St.

August 26

•Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident at 12:57 p.m. near the intersection of 10th St. and Vermillion St.

August 28

•Officers responded to the 1600 block of Lake Way for a car vs. garage door accident at 9:01 p.m. After investigation, Michael L. Luciano, 30 of Cottage Grove was cited for having no proof of insurance.

August 30

•An officer responded to the intersection of Oak St. and 17th St. W. at 8:03 a.m. for an accident involving two vehicles. A juvenile was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign. No injuries were reported.

•Officers responded to the 1200 block of Vermillion St. at 12:08 p.m. for a single vehicle accident that hit a building. There were no injuries.

•At 12:29 p.m., Dean C. Radtke, 70 of Prescott was cited for reckless driving after officers responded to an accident in the 1200 block of Vermillion St.

August 31

•Officers were dispatched to the intersection of 14th St. W. and Eddy St. at 2:52 p.m. on a report of a two-vehicle accident.

September 1

•Officers were dispatched to the intersection of 15th St. W. and Eddy St. at 11:25 a.m.

September 2

•An officer responded to the area of Red Wing Blvd. and Malcom Ave. for a twovehicle accident. The accident occurred at the roundabout at Red Wing Blvd. and Tuttle Dr.

•Officers responded to the 1600 block of Vermillion St. for a motor vehicle accident ain a parking lot at 6:17 a.m. Officers filed a report to document the incident. No charges were filed.

•A two-vehicle accident was reported at 3:53 p.m. in the 300 block of 2nd St. E.

September 3

• A one-vehicle accident was reported at 3:24 p.m. near the intersection of 19th St. W. and Vermillion St.
