April 18 1:23 a.m.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the 600 block of 10th St. E. After investigation, the passenger, James Meck, 39 of Shoreview was arrested for Felony Third Degree drug possession.

4:15 a.m.

Officers responded to the 800 block of 18th St. W. for a weapons call. Officers located the suspect and initiated a highrisk traffic stop in the 800 block of Vermillion St. The driver, Domenico Newton, 22 of St. Paul was taken into custody for 1st Degree Aggravated Robbery, threats of violence, ineligible person in possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm without a serial number, theft and a department of corrections warrant.

11:14 a.m.

Possible drugs were found in the 2000 block of Vermillion St. They were destroyed.

11:35 a.m.

A drug call was received in the 1100 block of 4th St. W.

6:48 p.m.

A suspicion call was received in the 100 block of Pleasant St.

10:32 p.m.

Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Ravenna Trail and Glendale Rd. Ciearra J. Payne, 26 of St. Paul was cited for driving without a valid license.

April 19 12:12 a.m.

An officer assisted the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office with a DUI investigation.

2:09 a.m.

Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 15th St. W. and Spring St. Patrick D. Sullivan, 45 of Hastings was arrested for DWI.

2:27 p.m.

A vehicle was stopped in the 2900 block of Vermillion St. Donald Kerstetter, 50 of Hastings was cited for driving after revocation.

4:51 p.m.

Officers responded to a theft report from the 2500 block of Vermillion St. After investigating, Michael J. Hess, 32 of St. Paul was issued a citation for theft, driving after revocation and expired registration.

8:09 p.m.

A damage to property report was taken in the 1100 block of Bahls Dr. for a damage to property report. The officer investigated the case. There were no suspects at the time.

April 20 7:13 p.m.

An officer took a report of a stolen catalytic converter from a vehicle parked in the 400 block of Spiral Blvd. There were no suspects at the time. The case is inactive.

11:18 p.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the 600 block of 10th St. E. The driver, Wade E. Stansbury, 44 of St. Paul was arrested for four felony drug related warrants out of Hennepin, Scott and Sherburne Counties.

April 21 9:42 a.m.

Officers responded to the Hastings Police Department lobby for a theft report of a scooter which occurred on April 11 in the 1600 block of Vermillion St.

9:43 a.m.

Officers responded to a theft report in the 300 block of Pine St. Aluminum frames were stolen from the property.

April 22 1:27 p.m.

Officers responded to the area of General Sieben Dr. and Northridge Dr. for a damage to property report. There were no suspects at the time.

2:40 p.m.

Officers responded to a reported assault in the 1900 block of Forest St. An unknown victim and unknown suspect left the scene prior to officers’ arrival.

April 23 2:18 a.m.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of 150th St. and Cedar Ave. in Apple Valley. After investigation, Adane Saleshi, 39 of Eagan was arrested for DWI and refusal to submit to a chemical test.

4:46 p.m.

Officers responded to the 100 block of 2nd St. W. on a report of a noninjury hitandrun that had just occurred. After the investigation, William C. Pasch, 26 of Hampton was cited for driver involved fails to stop for collision.

April 24 12:29 a.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Spring St. and 17th St. E. Paul L. Swanson, 55 of Hastings was arrested for driving with a canceled IPS status, expired registration and no proof of insurance.

2:18 a.m.

Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 10th St. E. and Progress Dr. After investigation, the driver, Collin Axell, 52 of Hastings was arrested for driving while impaired.

2:43 a.m.

An officer attempted to stop a motorcycle in the area of 3rd St. E. and Vermillion St. The motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed and did not stop for the officer. The officer did not pursue the motorcycle. There were no suspects at the time.

8:46 a.m.

Officers selfinitiated a suspicion call in the 1400 block of 10th St. E. After investigation, James F. Christensen, 51 of Hastings was arrested for a gross misdemeanor Dakota County warrant for interfering with a 911 call.

11:14 p.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of 12th St. and Forest St. The driver, Jack T. Lassen, 23 was found to be impaired and arrested for 2nd Degree DWI.

Accident Reports

April 22 2:06 p.m.

An officer was dispatched to the intersection of 24th St. and Vermillion St. for a twovehicle crash. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.

April 23 4:47 p.m.

Officers responded to the 100 block of 2nd St. W. on a report of a noninjury hitandrun that had just occurred. After investigating, William C. Pasch, 26 of Hampton was cited for traffic accidentsdriver involved fails to stop for collision.

7:02 p.m.

Officers responded to the 100 block of 33rd St. W. for an accident.

7:51 p.m.

Officers responded to a hitandrun vehicle crash near the 300 block of 2nd St. E.

9:33 p.m.

A hitandrun property damage crash was reported in the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd.

April 25 1:27 p.m.

An officer was dispatched to the intersection of Hwy. 55 and Pine St. for a semi vs. pole accident. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.

April 27 5:47 p.m.

Officers responded to the intersection of Vermillion St. and 18th St. E. for an accident involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.

April 28 10:50 a.m.

Officers responded to a property damage accident in the 1500 block of Vermillion St. The accident occurred on private property. Officers exchanged information.
