Glenn will rest aside his parents in Riverside Cemetery, Withee, Wisconsin.
Arrangements entrusted to O’Connell Funeral Home of Prescott, www.oconnellfuneralhomes. Glenn Eugene Schafer, age 72, of Prescott passed away on November 29, 2021 at Prescott Health and Rehab. Glenn was born on April 5, 1949 in Wareham, Massachusetts to Eugene and Pearl Schafer, who were serving in the United States Air Force. Glenn attended numerous schools in the United States and Canada and graduated from high school in Duluth, Minnesota. Shortly thereafter, he moved to Eau Claire, Wisconsin and worked for the Career Development Center for almost 50 years.
Glenn had many hobbies and interests but was an exceptional bowler who also participated in Special Olympics. He was an immediate friend to everyone he met and was comfortable in his acceptance and forgiveness of others. He enjoyed crafts, most notably bead crafts later in his life. When not socializing with others or working on crafts, Glenn enjoyed a good Green Bay Packer Game, Bingo, shopping, playing with his cat, Maples or a good session of jokes and riddles.
